Let's talk JOURNALING

The vast majority of articles, pamphlets, books, TV segments, and anything and everything I've seen and read about losing weight and keeping it off, talk about jounaling. Keeping a food journal, keeping a feelings journal, any kind of journal to stay aware of what you're eating, how much you're eating, how you're feeling about how much you're eating, how you're feeling about why you're eating.....you name it, you're supposed to journal it. But I have tried FOOD journaling before (yes, a real try....at least several months, which is good for me), and I absolutely hate it....really, really. So I'm not going to do that here (sigh of relief, right?).

But I do want to journal my journey, and I like to talk about myself (sometimes -- I vacillate between wanting to be private and wanting to hold myself accountable for stuff by being upfront about it), I love to write, and if possible I want to be uplifting to someone else who is struggling with something in their life. "Hey look, this old lady has been a complete failure at --- insert any of the number of things I'm trying to finally succeed at --- and she's conquering her demons. Maybe I can too!"

So, look for my posts several times per week. I will write about my journey to joy, but I will throw in other stuff too, hopefully interesting stuff about creativity and healthy habits, because that is what I'm focusing on. Maybe we'll play a game once in a while! I like games.
